You don’t need to tell me it’s hot again these last few days.
This summer looks like it will break all records, the hottest average temperature, the most heatwaves, the most heat related deaths.
This follows on from last summer, which broke all records. So it doesn’t take a genius to work out that extreme summers are going to be the new norm.
The NHS are talking about preparing for summer in the same way as they do winter, funeral directors like us need to do the same.
For example, families may have questions regarding what happens if someone dies in a heatwave?
How will they be looked after in such heat?
As a local independent funeral director, the extra level of service we offer in hot weather increases over our corporate competitors, such as we are happy to arrange a service around our families needs and not when is best for us.
